Please find below information on the 2014 NatWest RugbyForce programme which will be rolled out over the next few months.
NatWest RugbyForce works in support of the key purpose to ‘strengthen our member clubs and grow the game in the communities around them.’
What is the NatWest RugbyForce Programme?
NatWest RugbyForce is a nationwide programme designed to make rugby clubs stronger businesses by improving and renovating their facilities with the support of volunteers and the local community.
Last year’s programme was a great success, with over 400 clubs and 8,000 volunteers across England taking part in the DIY weekend in June.
This year’s NatWest RugbyForce will take place from Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd June 2014 and promises to be a great weekend.
How does it work?
From 4th November clubs will be able to log on to www.rfu.com/NatwestRugbyForce to register for NatWest RugbyForce 2014.
To be considered for grants and workshops, clubs need to sign up before 17th January.
From the clubs who sign up, 175 clubs will be selected to take part in a project planning workshop. There will be 35 workshops taking place in March 2014.
There will be grants of £500 for clubs who attend a workshop to go towards the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend.
Two clubs from each of the 35 workshops will then be selected on the basis of their project plans to receive enhanced support of £2,000 or £1,000.
NatWest RugbyForce registration stays open until 16th June and further incentives will be announced following the decision of which clubs will attend the project planning workshops.
After the NatWest RugbyForce weekend, support for clubs will continue with the 175 being invited to attend a business support seminar designed by NatWest.
